Happy Wheels on Steam: Features, Platforms and the Missing Price
What the 2026 Happy Wheels Steam version is: developer and publisher, unlock status, the official feature list, platform support, and the missing price.
The Happy Wheels that is coming to Steam is a port of the original game, not the sequel. The store title is simply Happy Wheels, the developer is Jim Bonacci, the publisher is Fancy Force, and the planned unlock is 21 September 2026. When we checked on 13 September 2026 the purchase area still read “This game is not yet available on Steam”, so you cannot buy it yet.
What Steam says is included
The feature list is the most useful thing on the page, so here it is line by line:
- Fully featured Level Editor: build and share your own courses.
- Level Browser: new user-submitted levels every day, sorted and ranked through the interactive browser.
- Multiple playable characters: each with unique vehicles and, in the store’s own wording, “underwhelming abilities”.
- No ads, I don’t like ads.
- Newly added controller support, listed as Partial Controller Support in the store categories.
- The description also confirms more than 5 million user-created levels.
Steam also lists Single-player, Family Sharing, Custom Volume Controls, Stereo Sound, Playable without Timed Input and Touch Only Option. The mature content description is refreshingly blunt: “Satirical cartoon violence… exaggerated cartoon injuries such as dismemberment and bleeding. No sexual content.”

The minimum spec asks for Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i3 or AMD equivalent at 2.0 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, a GPU with WebGL or DirectX 11 support, and 1 GB of storage.
Why the price is still unknown
As of 13 September 2026 the Steam store page showed no price at all, which means the developer had not published one yet. Numbers you see on third-party key resellers are their own asking prices, not Steam’s, so do not treat them as the real figure. Once the game unlocks, the store page will show the price and any discount directly.
